The mission of the Oak City Outreach Center is to provide a place of hospitality on weekends where people can gather to receive and give nourishment that comes from sharing of food and fellowship.
Our students and their families help serve food and drinks, offer guests table side service as needed, clean up and wipe down tables and help close up for the night.
Shift times vary. There is no age limit for volunteers. Siblings will need to be accompanied by a parent.
Brown Bag Ministry meets the 4th Saturday of every month. We meet in St. Joseph Hall, in the kitchen, and make sandwiches and bag lunches for Oak City Outreach Center. Mike and Rosemary Montague run this ministry. They meet at 2:30pm the 4th Saturday of the month.
Learn to make rosaries for the home bound, missions, and hospitals. All supplies are provided, no experience necessary. We will meet in Room C on the 4th Sunday of each month, from 1:30 – 2:30pm.
We will be having Youth Group once a month during Middle School Faith Formation class time. We need a few extra hands to help run activities. We’d love your help!
